glean · by smart-media
Your infrastructure is already producing the data. Almost none of it is read.
Glean is the interpretation layer for cameras, sensors and access systems you already run, returning structured events, not raw feeds.
Built by smart-media solutions llc, which has been planning, designing and building live video infrastructure since 2005.
how it works
Feeds in, events out.
It reads what is already there. Glean takes the feeds your estate already produces - cameras first, then sensors, access systems and anything else emitting a stream nobody reads. Replacing an installed estate is not a project anyone wants to fund, so the system is hardware-agnostic by design.
It returns structured events. What happened, where, when, and how confident the system is. Not a longer recording, and not another wall of screens for somebody to watch.
The raw feed does not leave the site. Streams are processed to event metadata where they are generated. Frames and raw sensor data are not persisted and not transmitted. This is architectural, not a policy setting that can be toggled off.
It runs where you need it. On premises, in your own cloud, or hosted by us. The output is the same in all three.
status
Where this is today.
Glean is in development. The first deployments are traffic and city infrastructure, running against existing feeds.
If you operate an estate that is already instrumented and want to talk about what it could be telling you, that is a conversation worth having now rather than after launch.
Tell us what your infrastructure is already recording.
We will tell you what could be read from it.
